Save the dates—Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori will visit our diocese Apr. 15-17, 2008! Watch for details in future issues of Grapevine and The Net.

Bishop Frade invites clergy to meet Sept. 27--As he did after last March’s meeting of the House of Bishops, Bishop Frade is inviting diocesan clergy to meet with him on the day after he returns from the fall HoB meeting. This gathering, which will be Sept. 27 at St. Gregory’s, Boca Raton, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will provide an opportunity for the bishop to discuss with clergy the actions of the House of Bishops, particularly the response that will be made by The Episcopal Church to requests made by the Anglican Primates at their meeting last spring.

Lunch will be provided, so we will need an accurate count of how many to expect. Please contact Bishop Frade’s assistant, Jackie Fernandez, Jackie@diosef.org or 800-268-9993 or 305-373-0881, ext. 20, by Sept. 24 if you plan to attend.
