You’ll be noticing a couple of diocesan staff changes: First,
our receptionist, Jessy Cajina, is on maternity leave;
congratulations to Jessy and her husband, Guillermo Soria,
on the birth of Christopher Anthony on Apr. 15! While
Jessy is out, we’re fortunate to have Sally James, a
member of St. Stephen’s, Miami, with broad work experience,
as a welcoming presence at our front desk.
As most of you already know, Bishop Frade announced in
an Apr. 24 letter to diocesan clergy that that Fr. Reggie
Payne-Wiens has resigned his position as Youth Missioner,
effective Apr. 23. Appointment of a new Youth Missioner will
be announced in the near future, and a dialogue and planning
day for Youth Ministers and the Youth Commission is scheduled
for May 10.

of representatives would also be in place to help coordinate
our response in times of emergencies. Please send
names, phone numbers and email addresses to diocesan ER &
D coordinator Deacon Vivian Hopkins at Christ Episcopal Church,
305-442-8542 or email chrepch.aol.com. Donations to Episcopal
