JUNE  2 0 0 6

This month brings us to the start of hurricane season, Vacation Bible School at many of our parishes—and the 75th General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Please note all the links below that will provide additional information to help us prepare for all these events.

You also need to know about some staff changes in the Diocesan Office. Angie Iturrioz is our new Controller, in charge of finances and accounting. She can be reached at angie@diosef.org or 800-268-9993 or 305-373-0881, ext. 28. Angie has worked for 20 years as an auditor, first with a national firm and then with a local one; for the past 11 years she has worked on the audits of diocesan finances and has helped us to develop sound and appropriate accounting procedures. Luis Rodriguez, whom many of you may know as a longtime volunteer with youth ministries, is now our accounting clerk; his email is luis@diosef.org and his phone extension is 22. Former bookkeeper Jim Carlton is now Administrative Assistant for Office operations; his duties include the calendar, scheduling and registration responsibilities formerly handled by the scheduling secretary. He’s at ext. 16 or jim@diosef.org. Mary Cobiella continues her duties as secretary to the Property and Loan committee and is now Administrative Assistant for Youth Ministry. She can be reached at mary@diosef.org or ext. 29.
