September 2010

If we're going to "make known to all people the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, including ALL, excluding none," as we say in our diocesan mission statement, it would probably help to know more about using social networking media and raising funds-and the Nehemiah Process is offering an opportunity this month for clergy and lay leaders from all congregations in the diocese to do that.

The Nehemiah Fall Overnight Retreat will be Sept. 21-22 at the Duncan Center, beginning with lunch on Tuesday and ending at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday; here's the complete agenda. The speaker on Tuesday will be author and digital marketing strategist Marvin Dejean, and on Wednesday the speakers will be Dr. Cheryl Chapman, executive director, Friends of Trinity Cathedral, and Sharie A. Blanton, managing director, Conscious Connections.

Click here for costs and other details. Registration is required and is available online; the deadline is Sept. 13. For additional information, contact Linda Schlepp-Gray at linda98@bellsouth.net.
